There is something very exciting about maps! My new map and guide book have arrived and I am happily delving into them and planning my trip. Only a very little research left to do and then I can book my tickets. While in Dharmsala I'm going to stay with a Tibetan family which will be a wonderful way of getting to know more about the Tibetans, their culture, and their stories. I can't wait.
My son has done what young men do - travelled across the world to find out what is on the other side. New start, new place, new ventures. We had a lovely couple of days clearing out his house, chatting, listening to him playing his piano, enjoying meeting his friends, eating the meal he cooked for us.........................
